Quarry Bank Mill

Following on from their Victorian Day, Year 6 visited Quarry Bank in Cheshire. Now owned by the National Trust, Quarry Bank is home to one of the best-preserved cotton mills of the Industrial Revolution.
As well as learning about the history of the mill, our pupils also learned what life was like for the child apprentices who lived and worked at the mill.
