At Forefield Junior School,  we promote a highly inclusive, supportive environment where each of our students can flourish and progress, academically, personally and socially.

Students may need extra support due to a variety of reasons and our aim is to help to remove any barriers to a student’s learning and provide them with the support they need during their time with us. We are dedicated to ensuring that students are supported in an inclusive way through a range of provisions which enable them to achieve the best possible outcomes and be as independent as possible before they move on to high school.

We provide support for pupils across the four areas of need as laid out in the SEND Code of Practice 2014:

· Communication and interaction

· Social, emotional and mental health difficulties

· Sensory and/or physical needs

· Cognition and learning.
