Ghyll Scrambling
After a short mini-bus ride, the children arrived at the Joint Adventures HQ in Coniston, where they were provided with wet-suits and waterproofs. The children were then led up to Church Beck for a safety briefing. Once helmets and bouyancy aids had been checked and secured it was time to enter the water. Under expert guidance, the children made their way upstream, scrambling over rocks, climbing up waterfalls and plunging into pools.
