A very warm welcome to our new pupils and their parents.

Following a variety of transition projects and time spent in our Quad, we are really looking forward to welcoming our new Year 3 children at the start of the Autumn Term. In the meantime, please read the information on this page and, if you have further questions, please contact us at school.

New Classes

School Uniform

Last year we made the transition from selling school uniform in school to an outside provider Stitch Design. This has worked well and feedback from parents is positive. All items of uniform are available on their website. However, we do have limited stock in school as below:

• V neck jumpers – sizes 26”, 32”, 34”, 36”, 38” – we do not have any size 28” or 30”

• Cardigans – only available from Stitch Design

• PE kits and Games kits – available with the logo from Stitch Design, but can be bought from anywhere without the logo.

We still have lots of P.E. bags in blue and red and we will continue to stock both standard and elasticated ties, although these are also available from Stitchdesign. We are currently working with Paul’s Place in Bootle (opposite The Strand) to see if they can be an alternative provider in order to give parents more choice.

Please note: Stitch Design jumper sizes appear to be slightly smaller than the jumpers we have sold in school. We do have samples in the school office and normally we would be happy for you to call in at the end of any school day for your child to try them on prior to ordering online. However, given Government guidance, we are unable to offer this at this time but we are happy to hold up garments for you to see. Should you wish to buy any of the above stock, uniform can be purchased from the school office between 8.30 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. every day. Payment can be made via cash, cheque or card. 

How the service works

  • Register, or sign in, by visiting the home page of the website at and clicking on the large “ORDER YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM HERE” button.
    IMPORTANT:  You will need to know our school postcode to register – L23 9TJ
  • Once registered you place and pay for your order online.
  • Please check your confirmation email to ensure that everything on your order is correct, and make a note of the order reference in case you have any queries.
  • If you are unable to place your order online please contact the school office so we can provide you with an order form to be posted to Stitch Design. You can send a cheque, or you will be contacted to make a card payment before your order is dispatched. NOTE: Stitch Design are not able to accept orders placed over the phone.
  • An on-screen sizing guide is available next to each item on the shop. However, school do have samples of cardigans, jumpers and jogging suits for you to see prior to placing your order.
  • As a school, we strongly encourage parents to recycle uniform that their child may have outgrown.

School Money

All payments for school lunches, trips, theatre groups and external afterschool clubs are made through online payment service, Schoolmoney –

Parent’s accounts will be set up on your child’s first day in school. You will receive a text message with a link and password to log on during the first week of term.

Do not worry about sending your child in on their first day without money or a meal. If they say, when asked by their teacher, that they are having a school meal they will be provided with a meal. We will never see a child without a meal whatever the reason.

Once your Schoolmoney account has been set up school meals must be paid for in advance of meals being taken in line with our School Debt Policy. Any amount of credit can be added to your account and this will be reduced automatically as and when your child has a school meal.

School meals are charged at £2.40 per day from September 2021. Parents will be informed of any price increase to school meals, as soon as possible.

Children will be asked each morning for their meal choice. These can be found on our weekly newsletter, Forefield Matters, and on our school website. If choosing school meals, their lunch account must be in credit.

Parents can log onto Schoolmoney at any time to see when meals have been charged and to check on their balance.

Children who go home sick or leave school for an appointment from which they will not return that day, will not be charged for an untaken meal.

If your child is in receipt of free school meals, no meals will be charged to your account. However, you will still need a Schoolmoney account in order to pay for trips etc. and give parental consent.

If you think you may be eligible for free school meals please contact the school office, who can provide you with information and assist you with your application. We encourage parents to make an application for free school meals, whether your child takes school meals or not, as we will receive additional funding known as Pupil Premium.

If a trip is arranged you will receive a text message informing you that this is available on Schoolmoney to give your consent and make any requested contributions towards the cost of the trip.

Regular text messages will be sent out to account holders who may build up arrears on their account. Please do not be offended by these but see them simply as gentle reminders to go online and pay for your child’s meals.

The Governing Body acknowledges that, on occasion, families have financial difficulties and in these proven circumstances, the school will work hard with the family to agree a solution, which is not detrimental to the child.
